Eyes Wide Open

The wide open space is filled with the gentle ocean spray.
The smell of fresh air permeated the air.
The feel of the warm sun caressed my skin.
I sat watching the surf crashing into the cliff’s below.
As I heard the clandestine chorus of the seagulls confer with each other
as they fished for their evening meal.
My eyes are wide open.
My mind is free to capture the pleasure in the tranquility of nature.
Nature on the edge of living life to it’s the fullest.
I feel their energy surging through my body.
Like their crescendo, emotions surface, crashing into my tranquil mind.
Orchestra of Clicks
Submitted by Hela on Thu, 2008-05-15 15:58. PoemsClick, click, click,
Some are fast,
Some are faster,
Some are fastest,
Speeding through the time called thought.
My ears ache from the massive echoes of clicks crowding me,
The phones fighting them,
French words singing,
Brazilian words dancing,
Good morning words enchanting,
English words saying,
I Want You Right Now

It excites me to think about that approaching moment each week. Day by day I count the minutes to those nights to find out what new adventure awaits me behind his door. What will he come up with tonight to arouse my curiosity to the limits?

to me my mommy,
May all you dreams come alive
in that world that is such a mystery to us all,
I’ll be waiting for you in my dreams tonight,
eager and ready to listen to a new story each and every night.
Inspiring story of a phenomenal woman
Submitted by dianeconnor on Mon, 2008-03-10 11:16. People in My LifeDear Editor:
I would like to share with you the biography of a phenomenal woman whom I know dearly. She is a loving wife and mother, has over 10 years expertise as a senior scientist for medical research, CEO and founder of Sisters Childcare Center, LLC and non-profit organization of Community 1ST (both located in Philadelphia, PA) and she is my best friend. I feel she is phenomenal because throughout her life she's been challenged with obstacles and tragedies that nearly killed her but the Lord saw fit to allow her to overcome those obstacles and use her experiences as an inspiration to those who'll soon hear her story.
