Our First Newsletter

Hello everyone and welcome to the YourLifeYourStory first Newsletter.

The idea behind this newsletter is to share some information, tips, good blogs and stories with you.

The way it works is that you need to subscribe to receive it in your email. We will start creating a monthly newsletter (so that you won’t get spammed) that hopefully you will find interesting and full of useful information.

For example, did you notice that on the first page we have included a listing of the last 5 stories published?

Now, the trick is that you can customize the viewing of these stories to your liking. By clicking one of the top fields: Title, Author, Comments, Hits, or Last Updated, you can sort all the stories by this field. This will change the view of the 5 stories displayed on the list.

Also, if you click the Read Stories hyperlink (on the top left pane), you’ll see a list of all the stories published, organized by default from latest to first. Again, you only need to click on one of the fields at the top: Title, Author, Comments, Hits or Last Updated to sort out all the stories by that field, or just to check all the stories submitted by every Author, sort all the stories from most popular to least, etc. It is a pretty flexible layout for you to find the information that you are looking for.

Also, please don’t forget to check our past blogs. Twice or three times a week we post a blog but this doesn’t mean that we don’t archive past blogs. Many of them are timeless and really interesting to read, so we would encourage you to discover our past blogs. You can access the blogs in two different ways:
1. By opening the latest blog and then clicking on the hyperlink at the bottom called: webmaster's blog
2. By clicking on the Webmaster's Blog hyperlink located on the left pane.

We would also encourage you to check and participate in our forums. You can read the forums without the need to be registered but you can ONLY participate in them by registering first. For obvious reasons, we don’t want to have anonymous people submitting forums that may be offensive or otherwise inappropriate.

YourLifeYourStory is a free site that pretends to share with you real and interesting stories. If you find a story ton our site that you like and you’d like to share with some family, friends or coworkers, please do so by clicking the link at the end of each story: email this page.

When a site like ours is starting, we need all the help that we can get from our readers so please go ahead, don’t be shy and spread the word!

PS: By the way, to manage your subscription to the newsletter, just log in (or register if you didn't do so before), and click in the "My Account" menu (located in the top right, with white letters over the blue background). You'll see there "Current Subscriptions" and "Manage Subscriptions". Just click in the "My Newsletters" option (under "Manage subscriptions") and check or uncheck the box next to "YourLifeYourStory" Newsletter.
